The exercises are designed for individual work and the answer key provided in the appendix gives students the opportunity to check their answers. The activity and game book offers the teacher new ideas for lesson plans and allows students to put into practice the structures learned in Espresso 1 and 2 while avoiding repetition. The order of the activities follows the grammatical and syntactic progression of the lessons in the course book, but the book can also be used as supplementary material for revision courses. The book contains a wide range of activities including competitive games (card games, board games, dominoes, bingo, puzzles, crosswords etc) and more communicative activities with oral and written production and role–playing. The audio CD’s contain authentic excerpts of spoken language and exercises on intonation and pronunciation.
